Our Purpose: to coordinate and formulate recommendations relative to matters affecting higher education in the state colleges and universities of Washington.

Our Strategy: to communicate directly with the Higher Education Coordinating Board, the Governor’s Office, the State Legislature, the Council of Presidents, The United Faculty of Washington State, and other groups and organizations who share our interest in improving the quality and delivery of higher education in Washington state.

This session of the Washington State Legislature began on January 12, 2009. During this long session, legislators and the Governor must enact a balanced budget for the next 2 state fiscal years. The session is scheduled to end on Sunday, April 26th.
